Lynn Nelson, saxophone player

Post by b0b »

I received word today that Lynn Nelson died Sunday in a car crash in St Croix. Lynn and I played together a lot in the 80s. I haven't heard from him in many years, but this is still sad news. <center>

He was the sax player on this song from my 1995 CD, Quasar Steel Guitar:

Rest in peace, my friend.

Another picture. Lynn and his sister Sandy singing the blues on the beach. I get the feeling that he was really in his element these last few years.

Mr.Bob, Sorry about your friend,REALLY enjoyed the sound clip,so smooth. I've always been a sucker for tenor or alto horn. When I started playing in the late fiftys there were two things you almost HAD to have in a band,a tenor horn and a B-3 if you covered the rock tunes. YOU BETCHA,DYK?BC.
