Bill Simmons

This picture is so touching to me because he played for me that very night on 2 songs. He always made you sound great. What a wonderful man he was and is.
I miss him so much. Just can't get back into the swing of things. I know he would encourage me to so I'm going to give it more time. He always said everytime I got discouraged. "You can do it Doc."
I'm gonna try it Bill.
Rick i love you and all your family and have missed all of you. Thanks for the beautiful rendering of
Letting Go.
In memory of one of the greatest at everything he did.

I still miss Bill just like I have for nearly a year. I can't count the number of times I've opened my phone to call him. Bill was always there when I needed a boost, someone to talk to, or someone to show me a lick. I only knew Bill 3 or 4 years, but he was one of my very best dear friends. Not a day goes by that I don't think of him at least once.

Mr. Rick, I'm glad to see you on here. I hope all is going well with you. It was always great to see you and Ms. Lil when you were down here. Please stay in touch.

We all know Bill was a talented musician. He was such a gentleman and a fine Christian man. You just have a hard time finding an individual with such qualities that Bill possessed. He may be gone from this earth but he is much better off than we are. Just imagine him in a place of no more suffering, no tears and no bills to pay. What a consolation we have one day of being able to see him again.
