BTW, I got the information on how to do this on this here forum. Thanks ya'll. I'm a happy camper. Now, @ 76 years old, I hope I can stay together long enough to finish the gig. I've two others in line to take over if I have to bow out.

Nashville 112 is a winner!
I just got my first gig since covid days. (6 years ago) I'm playing another Always, Patsy Cline run of 32 shows. I just wanted to say my amp sounds better through the house than anything I've ever had. I have the amp blasting me right in the face and control that volume with the master gain control. I send the direct out through the XLR and set their volume with the pre-gain. When I mess with the master gain, it doesn't effect the house at all. I can even turn the amp/monitor, off using the master vol. and check out the house sound with out effecting the house sound. I'm i n control!!!They are also getting my eq and effects because the XLR output is post pre-amp.

Ron, and others: I love my 112 ! Only one problem in many years and many gigs: turned out to be a broken power cord!
I played Always Patsy last summer--25 shows--and it sounded great. I had the crew mic it rather than running direct. BTW I was 81.

I like mine too. It has a TT12 neo speaker. But my "go-to" amp is still my 1984 Nashville 400 in a head cabinet with the BW 1502-4 in a speaker cabinet. If I go to rehearsals or some gigs where I don't want to make 2 trips for an amp into and out of the venue, I'll use the 112.

Richard, you have a great amp in the 400! My 112 suffices for all my gigs: most clubs I play in mike the steel. My "small" amp for basic practice sessions, etc. is a Cube 80.
You're in Missoula? I spent 4 years there. Give my regards to the Wilma . . . and the Higgins Ave. bridge!

I mic my 400 too, as well as the 112. I like them both. I mic them with all the bands I work with. I just think the 400 is warmer sounding. I don't play any louder than when I use the 112. I want to try using the 112 amp into the 15" 1502 I have and see how it sounds. Of course then I have to carry both the cabinet and the 112 into and out my apartment, into and out of the venue. The pain in my back just shot up to 12 just thinking about it.Chris Brooks wrote: 26 Jan 2026 8:03 am Richard, you have a great amp in the 400! Never been to the Wilma, but it's still hosting concerts (I hate downtown). In town here, I usually play at the Union Club (unfortunately downtown - sometimes have to park as much a 1/4 mile away after loading in from the alley in back of the club, which we can't block) or the Sunrise Saloon. The Higgins Street Bridge got "reconstructed" in the last couple of years. It is now the "Beartracks Bridge.
